Each professional is responsible for the individual requirements as stipulated by his/her licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please note: You must attend "live" (in real-time) to earn CE credits.
Before the event, you will receive an email from CE-Go with access to the virtual event. After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website. This link and access to the virtual event will be sent to the email account you used to register for the event.
Upon accessing the CE-Go "attendee dashboard", you will be able to:
- Complete evaluation forms for the event
- Download your continuing education certificate in a PDF format

Event Learning Objectives
- Specify additional interventions used in treating Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder with EMDR verses standard interventions in EMDR as defined by EMDRIA.
- Define Complex Post- traumatic Stress Disorder
- Illustrate how trauma is stored in the brain and explain EMDR integrating parts work and attachment repair.
- Examine research articles identifying CPTSD and attachment related trauma.
- Formulate a target timeline for major life events.
- Diagram history taking tools using clusters of memories.
- Develop and interpret an attachment assessment.
- Compose a protective parts map and construct a reframed protective parts to internal helpers map.
- Demonstrate three skills to use in Phase 2; Resourcing PNW, Container/Metaphor, and Calm Place for Protective Parts.
- Develop a phase 3 assessment for cluster of memories and for attachment repair.
- Apply 2 skills for moving clients through blocked processing using attachment repair and parts work.
- Summarize Phases 6, 7, and 8, implementing attachment repair using interweaves and prompts.
- Implement the Hand Over Heart Exercise to facilitate attachment wound healing and integration of parts .
- Utilize journaling resources to encourage clients' continual recovery from CPTSD.
